IPC Canada Photo is a national company that produces colour photo directories for Churches of all denominations throughout Canada.

They have recently expanded into Newfoundland and the other Maritime provinces. They are seeking individuals with some Portrait photogrpahy experience.

The successful candidates will be required to photograph families and individual members of Churches, then show, and sell their own portraits. The contracts are pre-set with the churches, so all photogrpahy is by appointment only and there is no cold calling involved.

Compensation is in the form of salary, commissions, and travel allowances. The majority of our contracts are mid-August to early December. There is a layoff period around Christmas. Work then generally resumes around mid-Janaury to mid-June. Another layoff period begins to August.

They are looking forward for individuals that enjoy working with the public, and are comfortable photogrpahing children. There is a paid two to three weeks training program.
